Paintings and drawings, Figurative works
Muncie Indiana

I have been drawing since I was a little girl. Drawing was always a way to deal with my thoughts and curiosity about life. I've always been a bit of an explorer... and my classical mind is stimulated by just watching and pondering the world around me. This is why I draw and paint- to get these crazy images, thoughts, ideas out of my head.

While I have spent time studying animals and am undoubtedly inspired by the colors and shapes of the natural environment, nothing is more interesting to me than watching people think, act and engage with the world.

People think. People change. People move, feel, dream, interact, emote, believe, and communicate. People come in all shapes and sizes, textures, and colors. People make me angry; they make me cry; and they definitely make me laugh. I love to study people.

So, naturally, you will find people in most of my work... in a variety of media, interpretations, contexts and styles.
